This group is from Denmark, go by the name Afenginn. They played very interesting music too, love the sax! The crowds gone wild by now!
This is my favourite group, Lo Cor De La Plana; I bought their CD which cost me RM90! The most expensive CD among all.... how come? They all sang vocals with some help of little instruments that's why! Love their music, it was fantastic!
This is Kenge Kenge from Kenya. They are the keepers of their tribe traditional music. They have performers and dancers too. Love their lively music and vibrant dance!

Mime in Penang!

Well it's true, Not long ago, little Penang Street Market had an interesting moment, whereby you can see these people all in White walking around trying to speak to everyone with their smiley faces and hands, with a big smile on their face. Here shows the artist and his trainees performing spontaneously. If you are wondering what mime is....., it is actually one of the oldest forms of the theatre (the dramatic art of representing scenes from life through expressive bodily and facial movements).
A bit of history about Pantomime
Pantomime in Greece, often took the form of mimetic dances. The art of gesture was called orchesis, from which we get the word orchestra, the Greek term for a dancing place.
The Romans were especially fond of pantomime. The sketches were often played as afterpieces to the written plays, or even between acts. Two famous players (both freed slaves), were Pylades and Bathyllus.
The Empress Theodora of Byzantium, a ruler remarkable for her concern with the welfare of women and performers, was a pantomime player from her childhood until shortly before her marriage to Emperor Justinian.

Japonais influence...
- 1 packet Gyoza wrap/ dumpling wraps (20pcs)
- 200grams mince pork
- 1tsp finely chopped leek
- 2 tsp salt
- Cut 1 quarter of a whole Cabbage
- Marinate ingredients:
- 1tsp white pepper
- 2tbsp corn flour
- 2tbsp sesame oil
- 1tbsp mirin
- 1tsp soy sauce
- 1tsp salt
- Firstly rinse the cabbage and finely chopped into tiny pieces, then add the salt and squeeze out the extra juices from the cabbage. leave aside.
- Now prepare the mince pork and combined all the marinate ingredients together with it and mix well.
- Then add in the cabbage and leek into the mixture. Mix it well.
- Peel each dumpling wrap and place half a spoonful of mixture in the wrap and pinch it the dumpling way.
- After wrapping all the dumplings, prepare a pan and add some oil in it.
- Place the dumplings on the pan and pan fry it. Some call it sticky pan dumplings because you tend to stick the three sides of the dumpling till it cooks before you serve.
- Tips: When you are wrapping the dumplings and the surface of the wraps turns sticky, you may want to freeze it in the freezer until you finish wrapping up the rest. Also if you find the mixture is watery, freeze it for a while before you continue to wrap.
- Futhermore, while you are cooking the freeze dumplings on little bit of oil, you may decide to sprinkle some water while pan fry it. Enjoy cooking!
