Fun with water

I guess all kids just loves water. Here she is playing with water. She dips her hand into the pool of water and play with it. Swirling, splish-splashing, pouncing, whatever she do with it just like experimenting the feel and touch of it and the kind of cooling feeling on her little hands!
Fun time with water is so far her favourite passtime! LOL.

2010 Grand Prix SIngapore

I have always wanted to go see a F1 Grand Prix at least once in my lifetime........ and my dream came true. This is one of the places to go in my List other than PARIS. After being grounded for almost 2 years finally I get the chance to travel again for a god damn good reason, the GP! Thanks bro for the birthday present, you make this dream of mine came true! Love ya XOXO!
Fancy Lantern everywhere..... and of course the people.......... luckily no rain that night!

The Huge crowd...... seeing people come from everywhere.....preparing for the excitement that will take your breath away!
Ok let me say that I have got a good spot, as in standing high on the grand stand platform in Zone 4. How come I got to stand high up and got a nice view....... it is because we went there early like around 5pm to reserve the place until like say 8pm in the evening when the final GP starts. Let me say, luckily there were 4 of us so 2 of my group went to buy some food and drinks, while another 2 of us stand there waiting. That's how we got the nice spot!

Guess who won in the end....... !!! Well, my skills in photography is still intact with me. I manage to capture the fastest car like using just a simple Canon Power Shot S90. Not even using Zoom lenses. LOL!
After Party in the Esplanade........ a DJ spinning in the outdoor theater! Mariah Carey performing on stage........ a few beers to end the night! Had a fantastic weekend! Cheers everyone!

Well, I wanted to buy an instant mini polaroid camera but later find out that the cost of the film is quite expensive; so I decided that we go shoot the photos in the instant photo shooting machine which is much better and more fun! Here are some of the wonderful shots..... LOL. We all did have fun, and will make this an annual event as long as the machine is still there!

Encounter with the Rubber Duck

The First time my baby saw the Rubber Duck, this is her response, well she thought the duck was talking to her and she pose exactly like the duck's beak! Hah.... I really have no idea what she thought about the duck, but later whenever she's having a bath the rubber duck will accompany her. Since then she has kind of fell in love with the rubber duckies that I put in the tub!

The Walker

I have been quite busy lately, so have not been blogging for a while, so now are all the updates! Here's the walker grandmama bought for my lil' bean. She's been quite happy using it now and it is fun watching her moving backwards instead of forward. Occasionally she will glide sideways too, think it would be sometime before she learns how to move forward.
But surprisingly, she manage to walk forward when I hold her hands, she manage to copy me by lifting up the leg and move about. Nowadays, I am helping her to walk around the house everyday for at least 15 mins. Oh she loves it very much, but I am thinking I should seriously do something about the funiture arrangements around the house!

First Mothers' day

My first Mothers Day celebration with my lil' bean wasn't very smooth! She was fast asleep during lunch time and dinner time! Hmmm........ the most interesting part is; I am force to wake her up twice as in Lunch and dinner time. Now I will tell you why, because I normally will wait for her to wake up by herself, as I think she's more important than me and no more me, me and me but baby, baby and baby.
Now during lunch hour which is like around 1pm, I am forced to wake her up because the Earth is moving under my feet, as in EARTHQUAKE! My house is shaking, I feel like fainting as well, so quickly without any hesitation, I wake her and carry her almost ran down the stairs! Luckily I do not live high up in the apartment! Seriously no joke, and later I found out that off the sea near the North of Sumatra had again been strike by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake! Hmmm.... this is the third time I am experiencing earthquake in my apartment. Guess have to pack my disaster bag soon!
Now during dinner time we have to go visit grandma's place and again she fell asleep! So I have to again pick her up and go to grandma's for dinner and she wasn't really awake and of course she's kinda bad mood!

So this is how eventfully I passed my First Mothers' Day!

A surreal experience!

To begin, it's like a surreal dream come true. Deep down I seriously thank god for granting my wishes to have a natural birth for my baby; but in a way I am happy to be able to fully absorb in the notion of experiencing what a natural birth would be like. No one will ever tell or describe the actual facts of natural birth, only one can experience it and in that way you will have a kind of rebirth in your inner self and also experience the labour pain in a way of your own.
My Doctor has advised me from start to go through natural birth although all my close relatives and friends advised me otherwise. I have learn in life, things happens for a reason. No unfortunate events or pleasant occurances comes in your life for no apparent reason, so I have to take everything in as it is and let be....... meaning leave it to god, as in god's will. Well, it works for me; I won't call myself a naturalist but I believe in Darwin's and Karma, life's is full of ups and downs but I strongly believe in living it and experience everything on my own... so as to live life to the fullest. I can now add in my own portfolio that I have been through natural birth and endure in the labour pain ( although not long - approx.4-5 hours ); and most of all be able to feel alive again and have my new little princess beside me.
After all the pain and fuss, I am able to give life and live life! What a wonderful world we are living in, and I do really think the greatest gift god has given us is this body and soul! To be able to think and to be able to work; I always believe we are here for a reason, so just go along with it and make full use of it.... in this life!

My Movie making stint!

Oh! Recently I've made a short movie clip dedicated for my baby girl. Many of my family members are old and they are all excited about the arrival of a new member to our family. Since I am quite free, I have decided to do a short video of the elders in the family and introduced them to my child. Hopefully in years to come when she grows older she will remember all the family members and how excited they are about her arriving to this world and our family.
The Title - Love from the Bottom of Our Hearts
Produced by - My Brother and me......
Directed by - Me (Mommy)
I have chosen to use the Rubber Duck as the main art direction....... as you can see all the family members has a respresenting duck card to help introduced them. The duration of the video clip is about ten minutes. As this was a spontaneous interview of each family member, all were unprepared and shoot on the spot. It's been produced this way to capture the moments of joy naturally felt by all the members so no preparation is needed. Indeed, the end product was a successful one, hopefully so.... :)

Baby's so active!

Ohhh....... My baby's so active. Whenever she's hungry or upset about the meal or she feels unhappy about the sleeping position, she'll be kicking, turning, moving and stretching in the womb. No matter day or night, she will be restless. Oh I try to keep her stay still by talking to her and soothing her but no matter how she will not rest untill she gets what she wants! Hmm...
I wonder this is good or bad! But like they say, an active baby is a healthy one! :)

Rubber Duck....

I have been so immensely excited about the idea of a Baby shower that lead me to search and look into "Rubber Duck". Oh suddenly I'm in love with it! So much so that I find although it is a common subject, but it is really hard to hunt down the rubber duck in my territory. I have indeed search high and low for this product and find it quite hard to get with cheaper price tag. Funny thing is that it is widely used as a "DIGI" ambassador but yet it's not like you can see it everywhere you go. Maybe only in poster and TV commercials that's all, the real thing couldn't be found anywhere near a toy store. Peculiar!

A Dashing Start

Come to think of it, I am kinda rushing to the idea of moving things and about since the beginning of the year. I am really expecting lots of changes this year as New things are beginning to fall on me all at the same time. No time to think and plan. It really starts going to get me tied up in lots of ways but it is a challenging year ahead for me this time. Lots of hopes and things to do and overcome, but as I approaching months after months, I realized that my attitude towards life is changing, my views and opinion as well. Most of the time, I could not breath properly as so many things had to be done and do. I am not a perfectionist freak, but I am constantly fussing about things that should be done in a proper way or say my way, which is I think not practical for some people and hassle for most people. In the end, I have to let go of some or else I'll be doing lots of work by myself. Lastly, I think I have to come to a certain point that I have to trust certain people in life to judge what they do for me and appreciate it. Otherwise, I am killing myself and others as well. Such a waste of life to think of the minor things while there's lots more urgent matters in life which one does not even care..... like the sick, the poor and the lost.
