The Charcoal Factory
The pile of mangrove wood that are used for creating the charcoal. The workers peel off the skin of the top layer before burn it in the kiln.
The owner Mr. Chuah explain to us the steps and process of making the charcoal. Mainly all the charcoal will be export to Japan, while only some 10% of the charcoal is sold to the locals.
This is one of the kiln that they use to dry up the charcoal. The owner has 6 of these kilns and one kilns is expected to produce about RM10k charcoals. If you are visiting Taiping, don't forget to drop by this Charcoal factory. :)

Taiping Trip - Kuala Sepatang Mangrove Park
Here we are at the Mangrove Park in Kuala Sepatang. It is one of the world's most well preserved Mangrove swamp. Amazing huh!
See those huge roots! Really fascinating, it has really been a wonderful trip. We suddenly entered the park and the temperature just drop. It feels so cooling in this whole area. For a city girl like me this is really something I yearn to come often!
Some of my nice shots of the mangrove swamp park. Amazingly there are lots of monkeys and various type of birds in this area. When the water rises, you may catch glimpse of fishes as well too.

National Art Gallery, KL
Pink Mushrooms anyone? I love these cute mushrooms that are popping out from each and every corner of the gallery. They reminds me off those cheeky little children that runs around making lots of noises and always capturing our attention each time.
Another piece of art work that capture my heart. This art piece shows the people, the community that come together to work and play. It narrates the simple life that we used to live in. Not as complicated as it is now. Also the rawness of the colour acknowledges the primitive way of life that the "orang asli" or aborigines still living in now.

Visiting Taiping - Part 1
The beauty of nature, Taiping Lake Garden is famous for its environment and its trees. Used to be some mining lakes long time ago but now has turn into beautiful man-made lakes.
Imagining that you are having a picnic under this tree and beside the lake, interesting!
